AEON MALL LAUNCHES MALAYSIA'S FIRST SUPERMAN POP-UP ROADSHOW!
SHOPPERS across Malaysia are in for a supercharged retail experience as AEON MALL, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, unveils the country’s first-ever Superman Pop-Up Store Roadshow.
The nationwide event, which kicked off on 1 July, is set to bring the Man of Steel to life at selected AEON MALLs through August 2025.
This ambitious initiative coincides with the highly anticipated cinematic release of James Gunn’s new Superman film, creating a full-fledged celebration of the iconic Man of Steel.
Running across six major locations—including Bukit Indah, Cheras Selatan, Nilai, Kulaijaya, Bukit Mertajam, Taman Maluri, and Tebrau City—the event promises fans an immersive experience packed with exclusive merchandise, superhero-themed activities, and record-breaking moments.
Historic Superman Gathering to Take Place in Bukit Indah
A standout event on this heroic calendar is "The Largest Superman Gathering" slated for July 12, 2025, at AEON Mall Bukit Indah.
At 2 pm onwards, fans are encouraged to don their best Superman attire to be part of what promises to be the largest assembly of Superman lookalikes ever, which includes a mini catwalk, costume showcase, and an official group photo for media and record documentation.
The first 500 participants will receive free Superman capes, adding to the spectacle of a sea of red and blue expected to take over the mall.
Superman Parade Brings Metropolis to Malaysia
Beyond this monumental gathering, the "Superman Parade – Heroes on the Move!" will bring the spirit of Metropolis to life at various AEON Malls.
Families and fans can march with pride in their Superman gear, enjoying flash mobs, live music, and special character appearances.
The parade, often accompanied by coloring activities, will make its rounds in Bukit Indah, Cheras Selatan, Kulaijaya, Tebrau City, and Taman Maluri on various Saturdays and Sundays throughout July and August.
Heroic Rewards for Shoppers
True to Superman’s heroic spirit, AEON MALL is also rewarding its shoppers with exclusive Superman premiums under its “Shop & Redeem” programme.
Shoppers who spend RM400 (for AEON Members) or RM800 (for non-members) in a single day across three receipts can redeem the Superman Blind Box Flask at selected malls.
Alternatively, a Superman Pet Cape is available for the same spending threshold across all 28 AEON MALLs nationwide.
Additionally, those with a sharp eye can participate in the "Count & Win – The Superman Challenge," seeking hidden Superman logos on mall standes for a chance to win limited edition merchandise from a total prize pool of RM5,000. Only ten winners will be selected for the exclusive prizes.
The excitement extends with dedicated Superman Photo Zones, where visitors can snap selfies with life-sized Superman statues and iconic backdrops, perfect for social media sharing.
Younger fans can unleash their creativity at the Kids Activity Corner, featuring coloring contests, mini hero training camps, and cape-decorating workshops.
A special social media contest in collaboration with Samsung invites customers who purchase any Samsung TV at AEON Mall tenants to post their best Superman pose using #AEONMALLSupermanLookup, with six lucky winners receiving surprise Samsung Music Frames worth RM1,999 each.
It is true to say “Superman is more than just a character — he’s a symbol of hope, strength, and resilience", and through the campaign, organizers aim to inspire families and individuals to embrace their inner hero and create unforgettable moments together.

Salam geng-geng Superman!
Dah ready ke nak tengok Abang Sado kita terbang semula?
Sempena Jerayawara Kedai Pop-Up Superman yang tengah rancak berlangsung di AEON Mall sekarang ni, filem Superman terbaharu arahan James Gunn dah pun mula tayangannya.
Fuh, memang timing cun!
Kalau korang dah tengok, mesti rasa teruja gila kan?
Kak Fas pun sejujurnya dah lama tak tengok filem adiwira Superman ini dan bila berkesempatan menyaksikannya di Aeon Cheras Selatan pada malam 8 Julai lalu… terasa macam kembali ke zaman kanak-kanak semula hihi…
Filem terbaharu Superman 2025 kali ni memang lain macam sikit.
James Gunn, yang kita kenal dengan gaya humor dan hati dia dari filem 'Guardians of the Galaxy' tu, bawa sentuhan ajaib dia kat Metropolis.
David Corenswet yang pegang watak Superman ni, serius nampak cool dan ada jiwa.
Dia bukan sekadar sado, tapi ada juga sisi manusiawi yang buat kita rasa dekat dengan dia. Ramai yang puji lakonan dia yang nampak bersungguh-sungguh dan karismatik.

Paling best, filem ni bukan lagi cerita asal-usul Superman yang kita dah hafal sangat tu. Ia terus kick-off dengan Superman yang dah dikenali ramai, jadi kita boleh terus fokus pada cabaran dan perkembangan watak dia.
Rachel Brosnahan sebagai Lois Lane pula memang on point! Dia nampak pintar, bersemangat, dan bukan sekadar "damsel in distress."
Nicholas Hoult sebagai Lex Luthor pun lain macam sikit kali ni – dia jadi jutawan teknologi yang narsisistik, memang sesuai sangat dengan zaman sekarang.
Gaya penceritaan Gunn kali ni memang feel buku komik sangat.
Warna-warni, penuh aksi, tapi tak lupa nak selitkan babak yang lebih santai dan fokus pada emosi watak.
Filem ni tak malu-malu nak tunjuk idealism Superman, dia ni betul-betul jadi simbol harapan.
Dalam dunia yang penuh curiga dan berita palsu, kehadiran Superman ni memang rasa macam dapat booster semangat. Jalan cerita yang kaitkan Superman sebagai pendatang asing pun terasa relevan dan menyentuh hati.
Ada juga yang rasa filem ni kadang-kadang macam terlebih watak atau idea sampaikan jalan cerita tu ada masa rasa macam serabut sikit.
Ada juga yang kata lawak dia kadang jadi, kadang tak berapa kena. Dan walaupun CGI dia memang power, ada masa ia nampak macam terlebih sangat sampai boleh buat kita pening.
Walaupun ada sikit-sikit kekurangan tu, secara keseluruhan, feedback untuk filem ni memang positif sangat.
Ramai yang cakap ia adalah reboot yang menyegarkan, penuh semangat, dan memang seronok untuk ditonton.
Ia berjaya buat kita rasa Superman ni manusiawi dan ada perasaan, sambil mengekalkan identiti asal dia.
Ini memang permulaan yang kuat untuk DC Universe yang baru, membuktikan yang sikit sentuhan humor dan sentimen lama yang klasik ni memang apa yang kita perlukan dalam genre superhero.
Jadi, apa tunggu lagi?
Kalau korang dah mood superhero dengan segala aktiviti Superman kat AEON Mall, jangan lupa serbu pawagam dan tengok sendiri Abang Sado kita terbang tinggi lagi!
Apa pun yang pasti Kak Fas nampak kanak-kanak yang hadir dalam kostum Superman teruja menonton walau pun rasanya ada juga yang tak faham dan lena dalam pawagam kerana dailog dalam movie ini laju, pantas tetapi babaknya lama.
Mata yang layu hanya akan kembali terbeliak apabila melihat Superman terbang dan aksi berlawan antara musuh-musuhnya.
Walau pun nampak Superman tewas tapi dalam hati masih berbisik ‘mana boleh Superma kalah’ kan kan? Gitulah...!
