JUNIOR CELEBRITY WORLD 2O25 DEBUTS IN MALAYSIA!

THE inaugural edition of Junior Celebrity World 2025 lit up Pavilion Damansara Heights on 21 June, as 25 young talents from around the globe gathered to compete in a dazzling international event aimed at celebrating culture, fashion, and youthful confidence.

Open to children and teens aged 5 to 16, the event was the first of its kind in Malaysia, promising to be a launchpad for aspiring young models and performers from diverse backgrounds.

The competition unfolded in two key segments—National Costume and High Fashion—allowing contestants to showcase both their cultural heritage and their sense of modern style.

The event provided a dynamic stage not only for talent discovery, but also for encouraging self-expression, building confidence, and promoting cultural appreciation among today’s youth.

Emerging as the Champion Runner-Up was Rosemary Kok Sue Yen from Malaysia in the Teen category, while Akza Kayla Syafira from Indonesia claimed the 1st Runner-Up title in the same category.

Marius Sim Yan Xi from Malaysia earned the 2nd Runner-Up position in the Kids category. Indonesia’s Chloe Beverly Beauty Tan took 3rd Runner-Up in the Pre-Teen division, followed by Chen Kai Qin of Malaysia as 4th Runner-Up in the same age group.

Special accolades were also presented during the evening. Puteri Zayyana, a Malaysian contestant in the Pre-Teen division, won Best in High Fashion, while fellow Malaysian Ummar Dzariff took home the Best in National Costume award.

Event organizers hailed the first edition of Junior Celebrity World as a major success, noting its role in promoting international friendship, creative expression, and cultural pride among the younger generation.

With growing interest and enthusiastic feedback from participants and audiences alike, plans are already underway for an expanded second edition in 2026, with hopes to welcome even more young talents from around the world.

Junior Celebrity World 2025 not only set a new benchmark for children’s pageantry and fashion competitions in Asia, but also created a meaningful and empowering experience for its participants—many of whom may be seen again on global runways and stages in the years to come.
