WiZ UNVEILS NEXT-GEN TV ENTERTAINMENT LIGHTING AT ARCHIDEX 2025!
THE 24th International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX), currently underway at the KLCC Convention Centre until July 26, is playing host to a significant announcement from Signify's smart lighting brand, WiZ.
WiZ proudly unveiled its latest TV Entertainment Range, a collection poised to transform the way consumers experience home entertainment by integrating dynamic, immersive lighting into movie watching, sports broadcasts, and gaming sessions.
The centerpiece of the new range is the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight. This innovative device connects directly to your HDMI media devices such as streaming sticks, set-top boxes, and gaming consoles.
It analyzes on-screen content in real-time to generate ultra-accurate color and brightness effects on the connected LED strip.
The Sync Box supports HDMI 2.0 and is fully compatible with high-resolution video formats up to 4K at 60Hz, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, ensuring a vibrant and dynamic visual experience. Each Sync Box package includes a 3-sided segmented RGBIC light strip, thoughtfully designed for easy mounting on the back of your TV and available in two convenient sizes to perfectly fit TVs ranging from 55” to 65” and 75” to 85”.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box offers more than just real-time syncing; it provides a deeply personalized entertainment experience through its four preset sync modes: Cinematic, Vibrant, Relaxation, and Rhythmic.
Users have the flexibility to further customize their ambiance by precisely adjusting brightness, color saturation, and intensity to match their mood or content.
A significant advantage of this system is its seamless integration with any WiZ color-capable light within the same Wi-Fi network, allowing users to effortlessly expand and unify their immersive lighting setup across their entire living space.
Beyond visual synchronization, the Sync Box boasts a built-in microphone that intelligently captures audio playing from any source, causing the lights to change colors and brightness in perfect rhythm with the music.
Controlling this dynamic light show is designed to be effortless, whether you prefer using the intuitive WiZ app, issuing voice commands via Google or Alexa, or utilizing the convenient WiZ remote control. For ultimate convenience, an auto-switching feature ensures that your TV sync lights automatically activate and begin syncing whenever a signal is detected from your HDMI media source.
The innovation embodied by the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight has not gone unnoticed. It has proudly received a nomination for the ARCHIDEX Star Award 2025, a testament to its ability to transform everyday entertainment into a truly immersive, sensory-rich experience through dynamic lighting that reacts in real-time to both on-screen visuals and accompanaying audio.

Further enhancing the immersive experience, WiZ has also introduced two new gradient lighting products: the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light.
The WiZ Gradient Light Bar is designed to create captivating lighting in any space with its unique multicolor segment design, allowing it to display multiple colors simultaneously and produce beautiful, sweeping wall-washing effects. Its versatile design allows for flexible installation, whether placed horizontally or vertically on counters, desks, or even discreetly fixed behind TVs and monitors.
The WiZ Gradient Floor Light also boasts a multi-color segment design and a wide beam angle, illuminating rooms with stunning wall-washing effects. Its slim, minimalistic design fits effortlessly into any corner and offers a seamless plug-and-play setup with no assembly required —simply plug it in and enjoy.
Both the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light are engineered to deliver an engaging atmosphere by syncing colors with video (WiZ HDMI Sync box with TV Backlight required) and with music.
With 16 million colors and ready-to-use preset modes like Party, Fireplace, and Ocean, users can set the perfect mood for any occasion. The Gradient Light Bar and the Gradient Floor Light are Matter compatible so they can also be controlled with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.
The new WiZ TV Entertainment Range products are now available for pre-orders through JLL Electrical Sdn. Bhd on Shopee, as well as other major WiZ authorized retailers across Malaysia.
While specific pricing details for all items were not fully disclosed at the launch, the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight (for 55"-65" TVs) has been listed for pre-order at RM499.00.
Other gradient products in the range are estimated to be priced between approximately RM250 to RM600, depending on their specific type and size.
