MIMF 2025: SHOWCASING INDUSTRY 5.0 & GLOBAL INNOVATION 10 - 12 JULY!

KUALA LUMPURMalaysia is gearing up to welcome international industry leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to the 36th Malaysia International Machinery Fair (MIMF 2025), which will be held from 10 to 12 July 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

Organized by ES International Event Management Sdn Bhd, the prestigious event promises to serve as a critical platform for industrial growth, cross-border cooperation, and technological transformation aligned with Industry 5.0.

Established in 1989, ES International Event Management has played a central role in shaping Malaysia’s exhibition landscape.

Since the launch of the first MIMF, the event has evolved from a modest trade fair into a dynamic engine for industrial development, internationalization, and professional exchange.

Over the years, MIMF has become a key event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), enabling them to connect with global partners, showcase innovations, and adopt advanced technologies to remain competitive in an ever-evolving market.

With the world now entering the Industry 5.0 era — one that emphasises the fusion of human collaboration with intelligent automation — MIMF 2025 is timely.

Businesses are shifting away from relying solely on manual labor or tools, placing more emphasis on sustainable practices, customization, and intelligent systems.

MIMF 2025 seeks to reflect this shift, offering a modernized platform for companies to explore solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

"This year’s fair will be a large-scale showcase featuring more than 700 booths and 450 participating companies," said the HonoraryLife President Malaysia Promas International Business Society (PROMAS), Lady Puan Sri Dr. Susan Cheah at a press conference of MIMF 2025 held at MITEC recently.

Also present at the event were the President of PROMAS, Dato Chong Chong TikPresident of DPUM, Dato Seri Abu Hasan Mohd Nor; Vice President PROMAS, Alan Ong and Chairman of Zajas Sdn Bhd, Datuk Zainal Abidin Jaffar.

Sharing further, Dr Susan said MIMF 2025  will draw exhibitors from both local and international markets, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Germany, and Italy.

As such, the event goes beyond product display — it aims to facilitate deeper engagement across upstream and downstream sectors while encouraging long-term partnerships and innovation-sharing.

MIMF 2025 will be divided into three major core exhibition zones.

The first, Plastics & Mould (Mould & PLAS), Food Processing & Packaging, and Smart Technology & LED Signage.

Within the Plastics & Mould segment, the fair will feature a wide range of injection and blow molding machines, moulds, smart manufacturing solutions, equipment, and raw materials.

A long-standing partner, CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd., will once again lead a significant Chinese delegation, highlighting the strong collaborative relationship between China and ASEAN nations in the plastics sector.

The second core zone will center on Food Processing, Packaging & Bakery Equipment.

Given the growth potential of Malaysia’s food sector, this area will spotlight innovations in food safety, smart packaging technology, and automated baking systems.

The China Packaging Federation will be working closely with the organizers to lead a group of top-tier Chinese enterprises, presenting innovations such as labeling machines, smart filling and sealing systems, baking lines, and automated packaging systems.

These solutions are designed to enhance product quality, compliance with international standards, and overall efficiency for Malaysian food manufacturers.

Meanwhile, the Smart Technology & LED Signage section will place a strong focus on advanced manufacturing themes tied to Industry 5.0. The exhibits will include industrial automation systems, AI-powered control platforms, robotics, drone technology, smart healthcare applications, visual inspection technologies, and LED lighting solutions. Organizers aim to showcase a full spectrum of integrated automation — from raw material management to final packaging — to create a seamless and smart production ecosystem.

By providing a platform for these technological advances, MIMF 2025 also aims to position Malaysia as a key hub for industrial innovation within ASEAN. The fair underscores Malaysia’s ambition to accelerate the digital transformation of its manufacturing sector and support the global ambitions of its SMEs.

Furthermore, MIMF 2025 serves as a channel to reinforce technical collaboration and trade ties between Malaysia and China, while promoting regional synergy across Southeast Asia

Organizers hope that the event’s broad impact will help elevate Malaysia’s position as a top exporter of high-quality branded industrial products in the Asian market.

As anticipation builds, the organizers warmly invite entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and business associations to attend the 36th Malaysia International Plastics & Mould, Food Processing & Packaging, Smart Technology & LED Machinery Exhibition at MITEC beginning this 10th July.

The event promises to deliver not only new business opportunities but also insights into the future of smart manufacturing and international industrial cooperation.
