BEAM ARTISTES LAUNCH 'MASTER OF THE WORLD', WELCOMING DELEGATES FROM 12 NATIONS!

INTERNATIONAL
talent and event agency Beam Artistes proudly inaugurated the first edition of Masters of the World (MOTW), a one-of-a-kind male platform that celebrates not only physical strength but also emotional resilience.

The launch, which included an intimate sashing ceremony and press conference, held last evening, 16th October 2025 at the scenic Ombak Kitchen in Setapak, brought together 16 contestants from 12 nations, united not just by competition, but by a shared mission — to redefine masculinity in a modern, compassionate world.

Unlike traditional pageants that often focus on appearances or charm, Masters of the World aims to create an emotional narrative about manhood — one rooted in self-awareness, growth, and purpose.

In his heartfelt opening address, Beam Artistes & MOTW Founder & CEO, Samuel Seow, explained that Masters of the World is more than just a platform—it is a unique movement that seeks to redefine true masculinity and what it means to master oneself.

“You see, life has a way of humbling us. I have had my share of triumphs — and I have also faced storms that tested my strength, my dignity, and my faith in people. There were moments when I questioned everything: my choices, my path, and even my purpose. But every scar, every setback, every tear — became a teacher,” Seow proudly shared.

“And through those lessons, I realised that to master the world, we must first learn to master ourselves,” he added.

“Men — whether we are in our twenties or in our sixties — go through phases that shape us. We fall in love, we fall apart, we succeed, we fail. We fight to provide, to be seen, to be enough. But the real victory comes not from trophies or titles, but from learning to master our mind, our temper, our relationships, our work — and above all, our hearts,” Seow further shared.

The Masters of the World competition aims to inspire men everywhere to rise above their pasts, lead with compassion, rebuild after challenges, and shine not only for themselves but also for their families, communities, and the generations that follow.

Masters of the World is a stage where men of all ages — young and old — could stand tall and say, “This is who I am. I’ve lived, I’ve lost, I’ve learned, and I’m still standing.”

Sixteen delegates from twelve countries across Asia, Europe, and Africa were introduced to members of the media and invited guests during the ceremony.

These outstanding gentlemen from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, South Africa, Greece, and Croatia will compete through a series of challenges during the pageant week, which began on October 14, 2025, leading up to the Grand Finals at Starlight Arena @ Plaza 51, Petaling Jaya, on October 20, 2025.

The competition is divided into two categories — Masters and Elite — highlighting that age is not a limitation but an honour. Every wrinkle tells a story, every experience adds depth, and every challenge conquered stands as proof that mastery is a lifelong pursuit.

The oldest contestant this year is Yu Cheng Chao, a 71-year-old professor and entrepreneur from Taiwan who enjoys singing.

Seow believes when a man learns to master himself, he becomes a force of good.

“And when enough men do that — together — we truly can master the world.”

“Let this pageant be more than a competition — let it be a message to the world: that mastery is not about power or perfection, but about peace, purpose, and perseverance,” concluded a beaming Seow.

Beam Artistes’ dedication to redefining the entertainment and talent landscape is evident through projects like Masters of the World

Known for nurturing diverse talents across Southeast Asia, the company continues to push for inclusivity and emotional intelligence as key elements of modern performance and leadership.

Tickets for the Grand Final are now available at www.thevotique.com, with VIP seats priced at RM350 (round table with food served) and regular tickets at RM150 (free seating with buffet served).

For Beam Artistes, Masters of the World 2025 isn’t just the birth of a new pageant — it’s the start of a movement to celebrate men who master life through empathy, wisdom, and strength of spirit.

Master of the World 2025 is set to introduce a new approach to determining its champion this year, as the final results will be decided through a public voting system, making the competition more open, engaging, and inclusive.

According to the organiser, the initiative aims to give fans and audiences a more active role in shaping the outcome of the competition.

Voting can be done via the official platform at thevotique.com, where fans can also purchase tickets to the grand finals, which will take place on 20 October 2025.

“When you vote for your favourite contestant, you’ll even have the chance to take a photo with him. We want this to be a fun and personal experience for everyone,”  Seow added.

The organiser emphasised that the goal of the system is to amplify the people’s voice in choosing the most deserving winner.

“In this competition, we’re not just looking for someone who impresses the judges — we’re looking for someone loved by the people. It’s like a democratic campaign; we want to hear the people’s voice, because they are the ones who truly decide who deserves to win,” he said.

He also urged the public to continue supporting this year’s edition of the event.

“We may be starting small, but with everyone’s support, Master of the World will continue to grow stronger and become a global brand that celebrates talent and confidence,” Seow concluded with optimism.
