NIGHTS OF FRIGHT 11 UNVEILS 'THE PUPPETEER' AT SUNWAY UNIVERSITY LAUNCH!
I
IN a pre-Halloween spectacle, Sunway University's campus became the official launchpad for the Nights Of Fright (NOF) 11 preview, marking an unprecedented collaboration with Monash University.
On August 8, 2025, the university's Foyer was transformed into a theatrical showcase for Malaysia’s premier Halloween festival, giving students a firsthand look at this year's spine-chilling theme and villain.
The preview was a high-profile affair, with Professor Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University, and Mr. Lynton V. Harris, Founder and CEO of The Sudden Impact Entertainment Company, leading the grand reveal.
They were joined by a host of other key figures, including Professor Calvin Ho, Executive Director of Sunway Theme Parks and Mr. Kong Beng Kuin, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Development, Sunway Theme Parks as well as students, faculty, and media.

Highlights of the preview included a first look at this year’s twisted haunted themes, concept visuals, and the unveiling of the festival's latest villain, the Puppeteer, a new antagonist whose twisted narrative will serve as the macabre centerpiece for NOF 11.
The event also marked the official launch of exclusive early bird ticket sales, available in limited quantities via Sunway Theme Parks (STP) Kedai Runcit vending machines at selected campus locations and throughout Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
Nights Of Fright 11 which will open its gates to the public every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 26 to November 2, 2025, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., promises to be more horrifying than ever, with Sunway Lagoon being transformed into the Puppeteer’s sinister realm.
Titled "The Puppeteer Returns: Bigger, Darker, and More Theatrical," NOF 11 will transform Sunway Lagoon into a macabre realm featuring 8 haunted houses, 1 haunted theatre, 3 scare zones, 11 thrill rides, and 3 live show stages.
The Puppeteer's creations will lurk at every corner, inviting visitors into a world of nightmares where "lifeless marionettes whisper secrets, and every shadow hides something waiting to move.”
The official published rates for tickets were unveiled in a tiered early bird system.
An exclusive two-day "Blind Box Stage" for Sunway and Monash students on August 8 and 9 offered a mystery vending machine item for just RM78.
The "First Early Bird Stage" is currently running from August 10 to 19, with tickets at RM98, including a popcorn voucher.
As the dates get closer to Halloween, the "Second Early Bird Stage" will run from August 20 to 31, with tickets priced at RM108.
An express pass bundle is also available for RM206.
For those who prefer to skip the vending machine queue, tickets are also accessible through the Sunway Super App, various online travel agencies, and the Sunway Lagoon website.
Dare to explore them all, but remember, the Puppeteer is always watching, waiting to pull you deeper into his tangled web. Once you enter his world, you’ll never walk out the same way.
Be part of the Puppeteer’s twisted tale by securing your early bird tickets before they vanish into the shadows.
